Surfinity was born in Kelowna, BC, on a cool summer day in 2012 when children on the boat kept on taking the adults dry towels to keep themselves warm. An idea spawned to create a heated boat blanket which turned out to be our first product. Not only was this idea created to keep children warm, but also a great way to extend the boating hours and boating season. As avid wakesurfers ourselves, we found this to be essential when we are surfing in the spring or fall in 50 degree water or during those cold mornings and evenings.

We manufacture all of our goods at our facility here in Canada and employ locals. 

​

Established in 1987, we are a private campground with long-term (seasonally) leased sites located just over the Bailey Bridge at Lake Koocanusa, BC.  

 

We operate The Kooc Store from mid May to mid September each year offering campers and visitors: vehicle & marine fuel, propane, ice & ice cream, Koocanusa clothing & souvenirs, firewood, bait and general groceries/supplies.

Koocanusa Boatworx are certified marine mechanical technicians. We provide maintenance, repairs, tune ups, diagnostics, rebuilds, refits, winterizing and more!

 

We offer our services for all makes of boats in Fernie and Surrounding areas. We can perform the repairs at our shop in Fernie, or we can travel to your boat and perform all repairs onsite, at your convenience. Either way, we got you covered and we will make sure you get back to enjoying your summer on the lake quickly!
