We are located in the southeast corner of British Columbia, Canada, on beautiful Lake Koocanusa.
The lake is only a short distance from Fernie and Cranbrook; conveniently located only 3 hours from Calgary; and only 30 minutes from the Canada/USA Montana border (Roosville border crossing). Listed in order of distances, the closest airports are: Cranbrook (British Columbia), Kalispell (USA) or Calgary (Alberta).

You’ll find Koocanusa Campsite and Marina located in the heart of the East Kootenay’s South Country and just over the North Koocanusa Bridge.
We are only a few minutes down the hill from Kikomun Creek Provincial Park. Please see below for driving directions.

Once arrived at the marina
After crossing the gates of the entrance of the Koocanusa Campsite & Marina, look for our office on your left, in the yellow building, right beside the fuel pumps. This is where we will meet to sign the waivers and get the equipment prior to walking down to the dock.

From Fernie

Drive West on Hwy#3 towards Cranbrook

Turn Left at Kikomun Creek Rd. (Right after the 3 and 93 Intersection/Dairy)

Follow the road straight down (past the provincial park) to the bridge across the lake.

Drive East on Hwy#3 towards Fernie

Turn Right at Kikomun Creek Rd. (Before the 3 and 93 Intersection/Dairy)

From Cranbrook

Drive North on Hwy#93

Several Kilometers past the Grasmere Store, you will turn left at the Jaffray-Baynes Lake Rd Turnoff.

Turn Left on Kikomun Creek Rd, (past the provincial park) to the bridge across the lake.
From Rooseville / USA border
Koocanusa Campsite and Marina is on the far side of the bridge at the left hand side.
There are restrooms by the store if you need to change, and we will then meet a the top of the boat launch.
